Change 06:29
A shadow passed across my door I never felt that chill before I knew a hound dog found my trail I heard a siren wail Everything is different from now on That was then and it’s all gone But Time is a bitch and she’s never late My fashion statement is out of date Looking for heaven and all I found Is the sky - and it’s fallen down God was looking at me He said “Heaven is history” Change ---- is gonna come One day ---- for everyone and change ---- can be unkind Change ---- will change your mind but change ---- is not decline Change ---- will take you higher - you’re gonna Change I seen angels and demons But mostly demons They come at me when I'm drinkin They come at me when I'm dreamin I seen angels and demons - but mostly demons One time a 3 foot demon came at me With a cup of blood and a piece of meat He said "This is the devil's communion You gotta drink and you gotta eat You gotta drink and you gotta eat" And one time a demon Came into my room He was as tall as theceiling He was kinda draped Every kind of shape I didn't like that demon And he said "One day all of thisssssssssss Can be yoursssssssssssssss" I didn't like that demon Didn't lie him at all He said "It’s not the lies that you been sold And it’s not the rags of growing old In the stare of the devil’s eyes They tell you all the religious lies God said to Abraham – kill me a son Abe was a believer and he got the job done" Change ---- is gonna come Better ---- for everyone and change ---- is not a fight Change ---- can be delight and change ---- is gonna hurt but Change ---- aint gonna wait for you - you’re gonna change

In The City 03:49
I walk through city arches Diffract across a universe A tunnel of light and darkness The marks we make upon this earth And then the steel glass buildings Litter the banks of a river I’m anxious what the light brings With it’s message to deliver I’m suspicious of the shadows Of light years passing by I found out where the time goes but I never found out why I watch the women waiting In black high heeled shoes The traffic is impatient They all got the Highway Blues The day is falling Just like all the rest All the wasted moments I so really meant to invest Looking at clouds assembled To mark pathways to the stars Like where I saw an angel from the back seat of car I walked into a gallery To see the yellow chair Thick paint just where you left it Almost like you were still there If I could paint then I would paint The views of heaven and earth The women that would tempt a saint And leave him in the dirt Or maybe an old couple in an orchard With sunlight on their hands Looking back instead of forward at all of their plans

about

Well we got to trying more and more tunes for The Thinman's Band which begins to look less and less likely as time ticks on - Bernie (The Bass Bishop) has recently acquired a new P-bass and he is keen to use it - unfortunatety not keen enough to embark on the stadium tour The Thinman has got planned - no amount of Snow and/or Snowwomen will tempt him - he's an agrophobic snowman - Thinman likes his bass playing though.
