Do you believe in a fate - Everything comes to him who waits Chance will bring you all you need - Ambition is a form of greed The wind that takes the autumn leaves The tides within the silent sea These things decide your destiny But you - are the one - with a childish - obsession The future has’nt happened yet - and there’s a past you can’t forget Do you know where you want to be Do you believe what you can see or do you see what you believe Shovels - in the hands of men Makes a time machine - once again Now it’s dusty - where there was dirt The windy city - beneath the earth So Turkey is out of bounds - Secret agents chase you around They all want what you have found - Stolen secrets from the ground, A jewellery cache and a face from the past Is Helen’s necklace and Hector’s mask Fate displays it’s winning ways at last Now where - can that treasure be - Somewhere in Adolf’s legacy But Sophie looked so fine - an image of the time - (was this?) The face that launched 1000 ships And caused the earth to move for you And you to move the earth for it Archaeology is somethin new - Homer laid a trail for you A magic tale of golden days Can seize your mind and change your ways

The Holy Roman Empire Are coming for us The burning cross and crooked spire Want to be our saviours Their foraging armies Take all our provisions Don’t wait for me Like I wait for The King Of Sweden ? They come up The Spanish Road You hear them marching so slow They’re followed by the murder crows Death is coming and we all know Nothing on earth can stop them This was our garden of Eden There is so many of them Where is The King Of Sweden ? Where is The King Of Sweden ? Well the Scottish Mercenaries Won’t show no mercy And nobody ever told me I would die this early The dawn chorus of babies Squealin for their feedin And I ain’t heard laughter lately I ain’t heard laughter lately O Where is The King Of Sweden ? Why can’t life be like it was We don’t need a new God We didn’t need salvation We don’t need to be a nation Where is the King ?................................................. I was born to die in Magdeburg For Martin Luther and Calvin But the sweetest sound I ever heard Was your sweet voice a singin’ It’s a memory I cling to As we all lie bleedin It’s the only God I sing to Where is The King Of Sweden ? Where is The King Of Sweden ? Why can’t life be like it was We don’t need a new God We didn’t need salvation We don’t need to be a nation Where is the King ?........................................

about

"Shovels" is about Heinrich Schlieman and Troy - google him !
"Time" takes issue with David Bowie and is kind of Tralfamadorian
"The King Of Sweden" is a historical epic
"Reno" is about a boring and unnoticed guy
"Dreaming In American" is a dreamscape
"The Listener" is about a social worker.........

If you want to hear our main stuff try the albums. "The New Snowmen" is the current stuff, Volumes 1, 2 and 3 are demos for the band and "Last Ghosts Of The Highway" and "Ghost Dreams" are songs for us to consider in the future...............we are snooker playing snowmen, always thinking 3 shots ahead....................

Thanks for listening
