about

You got to respect someone's religious beliefs ? Right ? I once heard that - but then I heard today that a certain religion had been "officially recognised" ? Weird - so anyway The Thinman got a religion and he don't care if anyone recognises it or respects it.............................................

lyrics

Those ghosts they sit around and wait
Trapped forever in the land of Super 8
Road dreams sunset flat mountain tops
Invade my mind and the film - it never stops

That time belongs to them and they keep it so precious
The world spin by and back again and time can be so vicious
Distant lands and a golden sun - they still belong
To you and we can never share the chances are all long gone

But I drink to the memory
And raise the glass to defy
The cruel fate of gravity
Wickedness and lies
Let’s get high

So this is my religion time is locked forever in a light beam parallel ray
And lives can glow and fade but never disappear away
And memories are like ships that float slowly to horizons
And clouds collide in skies that I never flied in

So don’t you worry don’t you wait you always got a date with destiny
You make no sense with any theory of philosophy you’re tellin’ me
I don’t surrender nothing - I keep it locked so safe
No highwayman doubts or logic louts can draw me from this place
